InsideEVs highlights 12 new electric vehicles currently on sale in the United States that start below $50,000 including destination fees and still deliver more than 300 miles of EPA-rated range. That lineup stretches from budget-friendlier entries like the 2026 Nissan Leaf S+ at $31,535 with 303 miles of range, up through options like the Chevrolet Equinox EV, Tesla Model 3, Hyundai Ioniq 5, Toyota bZ, Tesla Model Y, Kia EV6, and Honda Prologue. At the top end of the group, the 2026 Mercedes-Benz CLA250+ stands out with 374 miles of EPA range for $48,600. The bigger takeaway is simple: buyers now have more real-world EV choices that combine strong range with prices that stay below the $50,000 mark.
